Rain, Rain, and More Rain

I'm sitting on the back porch watching it rain. It's rained so much that everything seems to be shut down as if God was strongly suggesting a time of mullination. I'm reminded again how God is always right on time. It's funny how even the animals seem to take a day off and weather the storm. The birds don't fly that much and the cows spend a little more time under the trees or in the barn. The dogs are laying on the porch in a paralyzed state slumber that looks to be deeper than any sleep known to man. Though we usually complain about it rain is really such a good thing.

Rain is like times of mullination as it refreshes, cleans the clutter, and provides the fluid needed for all that live. There is one major difference - rain is completely beyond our control and taking time to think is a choice we make. Why not turn the television off for a while and just give it some thought and you'll see what I mean.
